Chislehurst Creates is going on a picnic and we would like you to join us.

This year we’re keeping things a little simpler, with a relaxed community picnic instead of our usual larger event, and the Crafty Corner price has been kept at £6 to reflect this

So, get in the spirit, pack a picnic basket and join us (whatever the weather!) on Saturday 5th September between 11.30am and 3.30pm, on the common between School Road, Church Row and Watts Lane.

The picnic area is FREE and will have plenty of fun for the kids. There will be a drawing table, puppet theatre and a nature trail.

If you don’t fancy making your own lunch, don’t worry. We have teamed up with MELK, who will be serving delicious sandwiches and their barista coffee.

We will also be serving hot and cold drinks, as well as donated cakes at our tea tent, just like we always do. 

Our Crafty Corner will be ticketed at £6. You can buy tickets online from 1st May on our website or on the day. However, numbers will be limited, so it is best to book early to avoid disappointment.

With your Crafty Corner ticket, you will receive:

• A craft box to enjoy at the picnic or take home

• Four crafts in the usual Chislehurst Creates style, run by our volunteers

• More to be added. 

All funds raised go towards the upkeep of our beautiful commons.

Will I need a ticket to attend the picnic?
No, the picnic is free to attend. Only the Crafty Corner is ticketed.

Will there be free entertainment at the picnic?
Yes, the drawing tables, puppet theatre and nature trail are all free.

What is included in the Crafty Corner ticket?
A craft box, four or more crafts run by our volunteers, and more to come.

Do adults need a ticket for Crafty Corner?
Only those receiving a craft box and taking part in the crafts need a ticket. Adults are very welcome to buy a ticket and join in.

How many tickets can I book?
There is a maximum of 4 tickets per booking. Booking closes at 8.30pm the day before the event.

Can I leave Crafty Corner and come back?
Yes, once you have your wristband you can come and go as you please.

Where do I pick up the craft box?
Your craft box can be collected from the ticket desk when you receive your wristband.

Will there be food and drink at the picnic?
Yes, there will be sandwiches, cakes, Pimm’s, and hot and cold drinks available, with more to come.
